Star Ghollywood actress and producer, Juliet Ibrahim has slammed the Ghana Movie Awards, referring to it as a joke.
The just-released list of nominees for the awards, the only movie award indigenous to Ghana, has been generating a lot of controversy after Cary Fukunaga‘s Beasts of No Nation walked away with FIFTEEN nominations.
Another star actress, Yvonne Nelson has already called out GMA, asking via her Instagram page, “How will this dead industry grow if we continue with this *ss kissing?”
Now, Juliet Ibrahim has called for the total boycott of GMA despite the chief executive, Fred Nuamah being her friend.
In a series of tweets, she appeared quite miffed that the film and Idris Elba – a British actor – have dominated the nominee list.
