Organiser of this year’s Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF), Fidelis Duker has announced that the festival would be used showcase the need to diversify the country’s economy and security.
The 2015 AIFF is scheduled to hold from October 27 to October 30 at the Silverbird Cinema, Abuja and Duker, a seasoned Nollywood producer told the NAN that, “Abuja International Film Festival is aimed at enhancing cultural diversity by bringing Nigerian independent movie productions to audiences. We are making huge utilisation of this year’s own to bring out and recognise the creative industry such as music, films, the arts, publishing and other forms of the creativity in the economy.“
“This is to create more avenues for employment and generating employment, which is to encourage the change every Nigerian is canvassing for. This will be seen as a major platform for employment,” Duker continued.
