Award-winning ace film maker Kunle Afolayan in an exclusive interview with GoldmyneTV has explained how he was able to achieve the in-flight premiere of his latest movie, The CEO. The in-flight premiere is sponsored by Air France.
He said, “This is the first of its kind, it has never been done before, not even in France where Air France is from or in Hollywood. Air France wanted to celebrate Africa, Lagos in particular so we met and discussed. They decided to dedicate the flights on 1st of June to the premiere of this movie. For me, that is something that should be put in the Guinness Book of Records.“
Speaking about the movie, he said, “The CEO is about the the corporate world and what happens there. A telecommunications company that wants to appoint a new CEO following the resignation of the former one brings in her top executives from all over Africa to attend a retreat. The outcome of the retreat is supposed to determine who the new CEO will be.“
The movie boasts of actors from four different African countries such as Wale Ojo, Fatym Layachi, Nico Panagio, Yasmine Raggi and famous musician Angelique Kidjo.
