Disney‘s Avengers: Age of Ultron has topped Furious 7 at the top of China’s box-office charts after raking in a whopping $156.3 million under a week, according to studio figures.
The superhero film gathered over 23 million and $154.64 million according to Entgroup making it the 8th highest-grossing movie of all-time internationally. Entgroup also reports that Avengers also had 494,148 screenings within the first 6 days of its cinema release in China.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is a 2015 American movie which is a sequel to 2012’s The Avengers and the eleventh installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
The film was written and directed by Joss Whedon and features a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Idris Elba, James Spader, Samuel L. Jackson and more.
