As allegations against veteran Hollywood comedian and TV show star, Bill Cosby have been piling up like a heap of rubble while seeming like there’s no way he could come out of this one, the ‘Kids Say the Darndest Things‘ comedian has finally come out to say something about what he’s been accused of after keeping mute for some time now.
Although he did not say whether he was guilty or not he said, in an interview with Good Morning America recently, of the shock the allegations have brought him, “I have been in this business over 52 years and I have never seen anything like this,” he said. “Reality is the situation. And I can’t speak.“
Cosby who is working with Black Belt Foundation to bring awareness about the state of under-funded schools in rural Alabama was interviewed to talk about his work with the Foundation but eventually addressed the rape allegations partially.
He further said, “I am prepared to tell this young person about life … I think that many of them say, ‘Well you’re a hypocrite,” he said of his critics. “My point is, ‘OK, listen to me carefully, I’m telling you where the road is out. I’m telling you where as you’re driving you’re going to go into water, and it looks like it may only be three inches but you and your car are going to go here. Now, you want to go here or you want to be concerned about who’s giving you the message?’ “
