Leila, a filmmaker, has called out Jason Njoku-owned iROKOtv over its recently signed Netflix deal which puts a meagre selection of African titles on the international distribution platform.
In a somewhat venomous piece published on her blog, she claimed the deal was simply a victory for one person – Jason – based on how much filmmakers are paid by iROKOtv for putting their films on Netflix.
