Yesterday, the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige followed the actor on Twitter and rumour mills went into overdrive. Speculations began to fly around that Nigeria’s John Boyega was going to star in Marvel’s Black Panther and some people even went ahead to predict his possible roles.
However the Star Wars actor’s representatives came out today to put the rumours to rest. They told The Hollywood Reporter that the actor is not and will not be a part of the movie. Boyega’s agent in the UK also denied the rumour on his Twitter page.
Black Panther already has Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o and Micheal B Jordan in its predominantly black cast. The movie will be helmed by the director of Creed, Ryan Coogler.
