In a bid to promote and preserve the Nigerian culture, award-winning Nollywood actor and producer, Kunle Afolayan‘s KAP in conjunction with Massimo are bringing a new show to Lagos Mainland called KultureCentrik.
KultureCentrik will be a gathering of cultural enthusiasts, a richly themed night of Yoruba culture.
The first edition of what will be a monthly event will feature live music from artists such as, Adekunle Gold, G.T the Guitarman, Salawa Abeni, Kentoxygen aka Edunjobi; performance poetry from Ajobiewe, Jimi Solanke, Yoruba food, Palmwine, traditional dances and drums which will include, Bata, Iya-Ilu, Gangan, Dundun, Omele, Saworo, Sekere.
The first edition of the programme will be headlined by Kunle Afolayan and will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Poolside, Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja from 6pm till midnight with no entry fee.
Subsequent editions will feature representations of the cultural wealth of other Nigerian tribes with each distinct ethnicity and night represented and spearheaded by artists from each of these respective cultures.
