Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi was arguably one of the major highlights of the 2016 AMVCA when she won the award for Best Actress In A Drama for her role in Falling.
The win shocked most people including Adesua herself because she beat a number of seasoned actresses to get the award.
Speaking to Channels TV Entertainment News recently about her foray into acting and whether it was easy for her to do so, she said, “I think my greatest battle was the battle of my mind. Trying to convince myself that what I had spent 5 years, 6 years studying I should go after. Because once I had finished from uni and I did college and all that, studied for five years, I was too scared to go into the real world and perform. I think it was the fear of failure; nothing scares me more than failing but there’s nothing worse than not trying.”
