According to reports, some members of the Nigerian contingent that attending the recently-held Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in Port Elizabeth, South Africa are stranded in the southern Africa country after the conclusion of the awards ceremony.
Even though not much noise has been made about it so far, the creative heads are said to be “on their own” in South Africa after the organizers of AMAA failed to make any provisions for their return to Nigeria.
In a series of tweet, Bolude Adeleye, a fashion consultant and designer claims that a repeat of the unpleasant events of last year when guests to the awards ceremony had experienced massive challenges is what those in South Africa are witnessing.
TNS does not know the exact people stranded in South Africa as at the publication of this story, neither have we been able to contact any of #AMAA2015 organizers for comments.
