Following its first season premiere last night on DStv channel 165, EbonyLife TV‘s Nigerian remake of Desperate Housewives, Desperate Housewives Africa has come under heavy criticism by fans on Twitter.
However, it hasn’t been all bad for the series executive-produced by Mo Abudu. The series already boasts a queue of sponsors which includes electronic giants LG, Airtel, Snapp and Ariel.
There is also a section of the twitterati that think, from what they have seen, the series is a wonderful idea. A few are even loving it already.
