Star Nollywood actor OC Ukeje was interviewed recently by Pulse TV and has said that he is in full support of the fight against piracy which Kunle Afolayan fostered following the piracy of the multiple award-winning movie October 1.
The Award-winning actor who praised Kunle Afolayan for a job well done did not fail to add a clause to his commendation when he said that the fight against piracy should have started long before now.
In his words “The truth is, I commend what he has done so far. Even though I do think that as a unit, this is something we should have kicked off earlier. Because it almost feels like one person gets the blow and the person thinks ‘this thing has to happen now’. I’m not saying that the organisations are not doing anything, but I know that this is a fight we should have started and sort of gotten actively involved in earlier than now.“
He further said, “What’s painful is how much talk goes into it, and how very little action follows after it.“
