Following the tragic death of the first class student of the University of Lagos, Oluchi Anekwe who was electrocuted right at her hostel on campus, Nollywood queen Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has directed the blame towards the government’s attitude.
While accusing fingers are being pointed at different directions, Omotola feels the government seem indifferent to the situation as there has been no statement on the sad event by either the state and federal government.
She didn’t hesitate to speak out. She took to the social media immediately and laid her feelings bare before the world to see.
The star actress tweeted:
How is there #change when this govt can’t show its people they are valued?who do they work for?cattles?aliens?#Negligence#lackofrespect

No matter who is to blame for the incident, it doesn’t change the fact that a young budding soul was lost. We at TNS send our condolences to the family and friends of the dead student.
