Nollywood star, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has brought #PovertyIsSexist, a campaign against poverty in Africa to Nigeria.
The campaign had one of the founding members of the U2 band, Bono who flew in for the campaign as well as for the remix of the song called Strong Girl, in attendance.
The activities that took place include meetings with civil societies, a studio session with music artists like Waje, Cobhams, Banky W and others, a media question and answer session where Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Bono, D’banj, Selmor, Diamond Platinumz and Waje answered questions about the campaign.
A dinner also took place, in which more people were in attendance including Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, Captain E and lots more. Bono also had a very exciting time as he danced to songs by Nigerian artists.
