Star Nollywood actor, Ramsey Nouah, has spoken to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) about the retarded growth of the movie industry in Nigeria.
He says this is evident in the number of cinemas there is all over the country and the fact that this causes a ripple effect on the unemployment and poverty level in the country.
Here is more of what he says:
“When we have a cinema house in each of the 774 local government areas in the country, a good number of Nigerians will no longer battle with unemployment. Poverty will equally be a thing of the past and the entertainment industry will experience dramatic improvement. Every local government must have a viewing centre as stated in the constitution to further boost the entertainment industry.“
