Nollywood actor and current AGN president, Emeka Ike struggled to hold back tears when he was asked to talk about music producer, OJB Jezreel‘s death.
After trying for a while to gain some composure, the actor lamented the poor remuneration of artistes in Nigeria and blames OJB’s death on lack of funds.
“I’m scared….Maybe if he had enough money, he would have taken care of himself. All over the world the contracts signed by these multinationals is different from the ones signed here in Nigeria. They don’t want to hear about the artistes…. Artistes are dying and you’re always celebrating it. OJB I’ll always pray for you.”
