South African Actress and Presenter Pearl Thusi is said to have landed a role in a major international movie.
According to Screen Africa, Pearl Thusi (who co-hosts Lip Sync Battle Africa with Singer Dbanj) was cast in the role of Makeda, a ‘sexy, gun toting motorcycle riding femme fatale’ for the movie, which is titled The Blue Mauritius.
The Blue Mauritius will be directed by British Director Charles Henri Belleville (The Inheritance) and it is said to star different talents from across the globe; Egypt, France, Germany Brazil and South Africa.
The Blue Mauritius tells the story of five international thieves hired by a mysterious person from Mauritius to steal the most valuable stamps in the world.
Thusi, 27, will be joined by South African model Nicola Breytenbach and will be filmed primarily in Cape Town, South Africa.
