Contrary to reports doing the round, Sylvester Stallone will not be fighting ISIS in his new film.
Earlier reports circulating on the internet and some publications was that the veteran actor and filmmaker would replay his legendary role as war veteran Rambo in a new installment of Rambo in which he will fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) terror group.
Stallone’s representatives confirmed at a press conference and representatives that plans for another Rambo movie Last Blood were underway.
According to Stallone’s reps, they already have teams looking for locations in Syria and Iraq for the movie shoot. They are working with the Syrians and Iraqis to help deliver the most realistic and intense Rambo movie experience.
69-year-old Stallone has had a career resurrection with his Expendables movie franchise that has spun three parts.
