The world rallied to advocate for their release, now there is a chance to watch their story. The Chibok Girls: Our Story is a stage play written and directed by Wole Oguntokun, a seasoned Nigerian playwright and stage director.
The play centres on the curious circumstances preceding the abduction of more than 200 girls from the school in Chibok, the event itself and the aftermath.
The play will premiere next Friday and it features Nollywood actress, Kehinde Bankole, Meg Otanwa, Leelee Byoma, Joshua Alabi and Rotimi Fakunle as well as three girls who escaped the infamous abduction.
It will be live on stage for 3 days from Friday, December 18 to Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the Agip Hall, Muson Centre Onikan, Lagos.
