Nollywood actress, Funmi Holder‘s debut movie as a producer, The Grudge is in cinemas at the moment and is making a lot of progress.
In a recent interview with The Nation, the actress discussed the challenges she experienced producing the movie and how the country’s current economic trouble is affecting the movie at the cinemas.
“The major challenge I would say I had shooting The Grudge was having to combine producing and acting. I had never produced a movie before. I had no experience whatsoever, it was a feature film with great actors. I do not do half measures so it was difficult switching back and forth from producer to actor. But I managed to pull it off,” she said.
About how the recession affected her movie, she said, “Well, fortunately for me, I do not believe in the word ‘recession’ and what you do not believe in cannot be a part of your existence, so, no economic crisis in my world.”
However, the actress encourage pad Nigerians to be patient with President Buhari as he is not a magician and will still fix the problems eventually.
