On a day that would have been iconic American rapper, Tupac Shakur‘s 45th birthday, the trailer for his All Eyes On Me biopic has been released.
The much-anticipated movie which is set to hit theaters on November 11, 2016 is now finished after overcoming certain hurdles, including a number of lawsuits and changes in directors.
In honour of the rapper, the city of Oakland, California has also declared today and every other 16th of June that follows to be ‘Tupac Shakur Day’.
All Eyes On Me is set to take audiences through the life of the enigmatic rapper and poet. Actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. plays the role of Tupac in the Benny Boom-directed biopic.
Tupac died of severe gunshot wounds aged 25 on September 13, 1996, six days after being fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas. His mother, Afeni died on May 2, 2016 after a suspected heart attack.
