20th Century Fox has released new trailers to prepare viewers for the release of the second season of its hit TV series, Empire set to hit tubes later this month.
This next season of Empire is slated to premiere on September 22, 2015 and it promises to be 18 episodes of sheer drama with the lead character, Lucious Lyon, played by Terrence Howard behind bars this time around and his first son takes over his music empire.
Guest appearances this season will be by superstar singers Mariah Carey, Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Adam Rodriguez as well as comedian Kevin Hart among many others.
Empire is created and directed by Lee Daniels. It is a story based on a music and entertainment company established by a former music star, Luscious Lyon with money from his drug dealer ex-wife, Cookie, played by Taraji P. Henson.
It is a tale of past deeds catching up with the former hood couples in the height of their successes.
