Rowan Atkinson, the British comic actor famous for creating the Mr Bean character has celebrated 25 years of the character’s existence.
The 60-year old actor decided to re-enact a scene from one of the Mr Bean sketches to celebrate the occasion. Atkinson took a drive by the Buckingham Palace and gave on-lookers a performance atop his trademark 1976 British Leyland Mini 1000 armed with his mop and Teddy.
Mr. Bean ran from 1990 to 1995 and was nominated for five BAFTAs, including best light entertainment performance (1991, 1992 and 1994), Best Light Entertainment Programme (1991) and Best Programme or Series Comedy (1992).
