Three Nigerian movies have made it on the final film selection for the 2016 Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) and two of them are by ace producer and director Walter ‘Waltbanger’ Taylaur.
The three movies are Salt by Umar Turaki, Gbomo Gbomo Express and The Wages by Walter Taylaur.
Gbomo Gbomo Express” is a spin-off of Married to the Game, a television series, also directed by Walter Taylaur for EbonyLife TV. The Wages won Best Short Film at the 2014 AMVCAs. Salt is a short film based on the salt bath many Nigerians took during the Ebola episode.
The Zanzibar International Film Festival (ZIFF) is set to take place from July 9- July 17, 2016 and 490 films were submitted from 32 countries. 80 out of those films were selected to compete in 5 categories.
