Kannywood actress (or should we say former), Rahama Sadau granted an interview to Weekend Magazine of Daily Trust, some days before her expulsion from Kannywood where she spoke about how fame has affected her life, the scandals that have surrounded her career, amongst other things.
When she was asked what she thought about her constant scandals, she said, “With fame comes great responsibility. People want you to behave and act extraordinarily and this is not possible, as we are all humans. There is always a story to tell about your actions and inaction and people love to tell stories about us. They also love to make up things out of nothing.
These issues are all gone now and I do not want to talk about them because there is always a way of interpreting one’s words or actions and I don’t like to scratch old wounds. We have put all that happened behind us and we have moved on. I’d like to leave it at that.”
