Hollywood Actress Meryl Streep Breaks Record With 30th Golden Globe Nomination


67-year-old Meryl Streep is now the most nominated star in the history of the awards.

Meryl Streep made history on Monday night when she bagged a record 30th Golden Globe nomination. The 67-year-old actress is now the most nominated star in the award show’s history.

The awards which are organised by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, announced her nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical and Comedy for Florence Foster Jenkins. 

Other notable nominees for the prestigious awards are Thandie Newton, Hugh Grant, Ryan Reynolds, Tom Hiddleston, Sarah Jessica Parker.

The awards will hold on January 8, 2017 with comedian and talk show host Jimmy Fallon hosting the ceremony.
