Nollywood star actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde ended her year on an interesting note as she was a guest of the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Omotola was at the Lagos Bourse on the invitation of market operators and she rang the final closing bell of the stock exchange.
The actress who seems to be getting an economic pull these days said after the event:
“My impression of the Stock Exchange right now is that this is the market that entertainment industry needs to get to know about. We are obviously not aware of the fact that entertainment outfit could actually be listed. It was also surprising to me initially but I hope that in the year 2016, we would be able to do something about that.“
The mother of four, after Thursday’s experience, has vowed to get her company on the market and her colleagues in the industry should also prepare themselves for the actress’ stock exchange gospel.
“It’s not going to be my own company alone as there are many other respectable entertainment outfits out there that could also benefit from the experience and opportunities. Since I am fortunate to be here, I will surely spread the news.“
