On a cool September Friday evening at The SMAT Place, Surulere, Lagos, Nollywood practitioners, film enthusiasts and fun seekers gathered to watch one of Tunde Kelani‘s classics – Saworoide.
The 1999 political sattire features a collection of cast that can be referred to as arguably the most star-studded in any Nigerian film before the turn of the millennium.
After the screening, the discussion segment was anchored by actor Seun Kentebe and, as usual, featured illuminating conversations and contributions.
The September 6 event was attended by Greg Ojefua, Baaj Adebule, Sola Roberts, Prof. Tunji Azeez, Olu Yomi Ososanya, Oseti Justina, Helena Nelson, Tope Alake, Jide Taiwo and many others.
Nolly First Fridays is put together by TNS and SMAT Media.
